Last October I had a bad case of the reading slump😱. I barely read anything and so writing a wrap up felt unnecessary, hence this two in one article. A quick warning though, I definitely got over the reading slump in November… So get yourself a snack this article won’t be short.

How many new babies/books will be joining your TBR pile soon?
As always towards the end of the year there are fewer book releases, so I wasn’t sure I should write this article. But there are three books I am very excited about coming out in November and December 2018, and I needed to talk about these releases.
After an epic reading month in August, things slowed down in September. Finish school and getting a new job took up most of my time and energy. Needless to say I didn’t do much reading. I did, however, manage to discover a new novel and continue my reread of the Percy Jackson series.
Her talents are getting stronger, and with the elusive Black Swan group ignoring her calls for help, she’s determined to find her kidnappers—before they come after her again.
But a daring mistake leaves her world teetering on the edge of war, and causes many to fear that she has finally gone too far. And the deeper Sophie searches, the farther the conspiracy stretches, proving that her most dangerous enemy might be closer than she realizes.
In this nail-biting third book in the Keeper of the Lost Cities series, Sophie must fight the flames of rebellion, before they destroy everyone and everything she loves.
For Angel Rahimi, life is only about one thing: The Ark – a pop-rock trio of teenage boys who are currently taking the world by storm. Being part of The Ark’s fandom has given her everything – her friendships, her dreams, her place in the world.
Jimmy Kaga-Ricci owes everything to The Ark too. He’s their frontman – and playing in a band is all he’s ever dreamed of doing. It’s just a shame that recently everything in his life seems to have turned into a bit of a nightmare.
Because that’s the problem with dreaming – eventually, inevitably, real life arrives with a wake-up call. And when Angel and Jimmy are unexpectedly thrust together, they will discover just how strange and surprising facing up to reality can be.
Last month I had some vacations, so I got plenty of time to do some reading. I also took part in the 24hours readathon hosted by my friend Morgane. So in August, I read six books and a novella. Let’s talk about those 😉
Summer holidays are almost over which means fall is coming. And most importantly, fall new releases! So it’s time to take a look at the books releases of next month. Keep in mind these are just the ones that caught my eyes, but I know there are many other great books coming out in September. In fact, feel free to share with me the ones you’re anticipating the most.
