Since I’ve been in a bit of a reading slump lately, I haven’t been posting much and I am sorry about that. So make it up to you, I thought I would do a tag, and found one I really liked. So today, I am doing the Goodreads Book Tag.
As a bookworm, Goodreads is one of my favorites websites and I pretty much use it on a daily basis. Do you? This Tag has twelve questions based on the current state of my Goodreads account. So let’s get started.
1. What was the last book you marked as ‘Read’?
2. What are you currently reading?
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J.K. Rowling – I’m actually listening to the audiobook of this one, but that still counts.
3. What was the last book you marked as ‘To Read’?
Aru Shah and the End of Time by Roshani Chokshi – A few days ago I added this one as well as a couple more books, coming out in 2018 in the Rick Riordan Presents collection. This one is the first of a four book series based on Hindu Mythology.
4. What book do you plan to read next?
I have no clue. Seriously. I almost never know what book I’ll be reading next until I actually pick one up. I guess you’ll have to add me on Goodreads to find out.
5. Do you the star rating system?
Yes, always. Although I would love being able to give a half star. It would just be much more precise.
6. Are you doing a reading challenge this year?
Yep, for the third year in a row. I don’t have a really high goal, but I raise it a bit each year, to challenge my self.
7. Do you have a wishlist?
Not on Goodreads no… I do have an endless wish list on Amazon though!
8. What book do you plan to buy next?
Wonder Woman: Warbringer by Leigh Bardugo – This book is at the top of my list since it comes out real soon, but I can’t say for sure this will be my next bookish purchase.
9. Do you have any favorite quotes?
I am not good with quotes, but there is one I particularly love from Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas.
“Libraries were full of ideas—perhaps the most dangerous and powerful of all weapons.”
10. Who are your favorites authors?
My top three are Cassandra Clare, Sarah J. Maas and Rick Riordan. But there are many other I adore.
11. Have you joined any groups?
I’ve only joined one group, The Book Club of Notre-Dame, which was created by my friend Clara (@thebookwormofnotredame).
12. How many shelves do you have on Goodreads?
I created eight shelves on Goodreads, most of which I use to follow future book releases for the coming years. For instance, there are already 31 books on my ‘Coming our Way – 2018’ shelf.
If you’ve enjoyed this tag, feel free to do it yourself and let me know if you did so in the comments.
Enjoy your reads,
