Hello, today I am doing the Social Media Book Tag, which was recommended to me by the lovely Audrey from Liberteasite.
As always you can do this tag yourself and if so, let me know in the comment section below so I can check it out.
►Your favorite short book (under 200 pages)
I don’t consider novellas to be a full book, usually, we get a bind-up. So, I have to go with We Were Liars by E. Lockhart. This book completely caught me off-guard and surprised me, so I really enjoyed it.
► A book that everyone pressured you to read.
For this one, I have to pay tribute to Audrey, the French Emberling Queen. She loves An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir so much. She’ll make you want to read it for sure. And I loved that book so thank you love.
► A book you read before it was cool.
Let’s be honest here… when it comes to books I am more of a follower than a trendsetter. So that one was tough. But I remember reading Carry On by Rainbow Rowell as soon as it came out, and I would still recommend it to everyone. It’s just that good.
► A book that you liked when you were younger, but you probably would not like now.
I can’t really know for sure without rereading them, but I used to love books by Meg Cabot. Now, I think they might be too childish for me.
►A book that has the most beautiful cover in existence.
Right off the back, I have to say Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi… I have many beautiful books, but this series is blessed with truly stunning covers.
► A book that you wish was made into a movie.
I don’t always love book to movie adaptations but if there’s one book I’d like to see turned into a movie, it would be Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff.
► A book that you would recommend to anyone and everyone.
What… just one book? Well, that’s a tough one. I usually recommend authors like Sarah J. Maas and Cassie Clare, cause I love them so much. But if I could only recommend one book, it would be It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover. Everyone should read this book. It’s an important one, on a difficult topic and it moved me.
